Botox (Jeuveau) Questions
Botox (Jeuveau) costs $10 per unit at MDW Aesthetics. Most patients use 20 to 60 units per session depending on treatment areas. A typical forehead treatment ranges from $100 to $300. Your provider determines the exact unit count during your complimentary consultation.
Jeuveau (prabotulinumtoxinA) is an FDA-approved neurotoxin manufactured by Evolus. It works identically to Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA) by relaxing targeted muscles to smooth wrinkles. MDW Aesthetics selected Jeuveau because it delivers the same results at a competitive price point. Both products are FDA-cleared for cosmetic use.
Botox results typically last three to four months. Most MDW Aesthetics patients schedule maintenance treatments every 12 to 16 weeks. With consistent treatments, some patients find results last longer as muscles adapt over time.
Most patients describe Botox injections as a brief pinch lasting one to two seconds per injection site. Our practitioners use fine-gauge needles and precise technique to minimize discomfort. The entire treatment takes about 15 minutes with no anesthesia required.
Initial Botox results appear within 3 to 5 days after treatment. Full results develop over 10 to 14 days as the neurotoxin takes complete effect. Your MDW Aesthetics provider schedules a two-week follow-up to assess your results and make any adjustments.
Lip Filler & Dermal Filler Questions
Lip filler at MDW Aesthetics starts at $399 per syringe using Revanesse Versa, an FDA-cleared hyaluronic acid filler. Most patients achieve their desired look with one to two syringes. Your provider recommends the right amount during your free consultation based on your lip anatomy and goals.
MDW Aesthetics exclusively uses Revanesse Versa, manufactured by Prollenium. It is an FDA-cleared hyaluronic acid dermal filler. We chose Revanesse Versa for its smooth texture, natural-looking results, and lower swelling compared to some competitor products. We do not use off-brand or unapproved fillers.
Lip filler results typically last 6 to 12 months depending on your metabolism, the amount injected, and lifestyle factors. Hyaluronic acid fillers like Revanesse Versa naturally dissolve over time. Many patients schedule touch-up appointments every 8 to 12 months to maintain their results.
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers like Revanesse Versa can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. If you are unhappy with your results, your MDW Aesthetics provider can administer this enzyme to break down the filler. This is one reason we use only hyaluronic acid-based products.
Facial balancing uses strategic filler placement in areas like cheeks, jawline, chin, and temples to create facial symmetry and proportion. Rather than adding volume to one area, facial balancing addresses the face as a whole. MDW Aesthetics practitioners assess your full facial anatomy during your consultation to recommend a balanced approach.
PRP Treatment Questions
PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma. Your provider draws a small blood sample, processes it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets, then injects the platelet-rich portion into the treatment area. Platelets contain growth factors that stimulate collagen production, tissue repair, and cellular regeneration. It uses your own biology for natural results.
PRP under eye treatment helps reduce dark circles caused by thin skin and poor circulation in the under-eye area. The concentrated platelets stimulate collagen production and tissue regeneration beneath the skin. Most patients notice improvement after 2 to 3 sessions, with results continuing to develop over several months.
Most patients benefit from an initial series of 3 PRP hair restoration sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. After the initial series, maintenance treatments every 3 to 6 months help sustain results. Your MDW Aesthetics provider customizes the treatment schedule based on your hair loss pattern and goals.
PRP is considered a low-risk treatment because it uses your own blood. There is no risk of allergic reaction or rejection. Side effects are typically limited to mild swelling, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site that resolves within 24 to 48 hours. All PRP treatments at MDW Aesthetics are performed under the medical direction of Dr. Mina Ayad, MD.
Microneedling Questions
PRP microneedling combines traditional microneedling (tiny needles creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin) with topical application of your own Platelet-Rich Plasma. The micro-channels allow deeper PRP absorption, amplifying collagen production and skin rejuvenation. It improves texture, tone, fine lines, acne scars, and overall skin quality.
Salmon DNA microneedling uses polynucleotides (PDRN) derived from salmon DNA combined with microneedling. These polynucleotides promote deep tissue repair, hydration, and collagen synthesis at a cellular level. MDW Aesthetics offers this as a next-generation alternative to standard PRP microneedling for patients seeking advanced skin rejuvenation.
Most patients experience mild redness for 24 to 48 hours after microneedling, similar to a mild sunburn. Skin may feel tight or dry for 2 to 3 days. Most patients return to normal activities the next day and can wear makeup after 24 hours. Your MDW Aesthetics provider gives you specific aftercare instructions following your treatment.
